Boulder Music Institute is pleased to announce we are accepting applications for 10 student directors for our 2014 program. Daniel Helfgot will provide hands on training to those interested in opera staging apprenticeships. By assisting the directing process the participants will partake in discussions from concept to performance. Score analysis, character definition, period and style choices are part of the work study as well as all aspects of communication with cast, chorus, and crew members, and interaction with conductors and designers.
